Dog Walking
Walk, and or, play with leashed dogs for exercise and enjoyment!

Cat Cuddling
Hold, pet or brush our felines. It might just help to lower your blood pressure!

Cleaning and Facility Maintenance
Cleaning and disinfecting the shelter, helps us to maintain a healthy environment for our four legged guests. Lawn mowing, trimming, painting and other projects make our shelter a welcoming place for people to find a furry addition to their family.

Pet Descriptions
Have a flair for descriptive writing? Come to the shelter and spend some time with our animals and help to write descriptions for our website that reflect each pet’s individual personality.

Fundraising
Help with planning and organizing of fundraisers such as the pizza sale, candy bar sale, soup & book sale, yard sale, theme basket auction and Christmas cookie sale.

Newsletter mailing tasks
Help with inserting envelopes, sealing newsletters, counting newsletters by zip code and other clerical duties.

Crafts
If you have a talent in making crafts, you can join the other generous individuals who create items and donate them to the SPCA for use at our fundraisers by contacting us at 585-593-2200 or e-mail us at donate@SPCAallegany.org.
