The SPCA's mission is to attend to the needs of the abandoned, neglected, and abused companion animals of Allegany County. Change is constant at the SPCA shelter. Animals in great need of care and compassion continually arrive as others are adopted out into their forever homes. The furry faces may change, but the need never goes away.

HOLIDAY CRAFT & VENDOR SHOW
Join us for our HOLIDAY CRAFT & VENDOR SHOW on November 22nd, 2025 from 10am - 3pm located at the Wellsville Elementary School located at 98 School Street. We have over 65 vendors & crafters that will be there selling their items. We will also be raffling items from the vendors and we have many stocking stuffers for sale

SAVE THE DATE - DECEMBER 13th PET PICS with SANTA and MAKE & TAKE an EVERGREEN CENTERPIECE
Pet Pics with SANTA is December 13th from 10am - 2pm on Saturday, December 13th at the Wellsville Elementary School. Santa welcomes not only dogs & cats...but ALL pets can come and get their picture taken with Santa for ONLY $10.00 AND we will be selling our 2026 SPCA Calendar for $10.00
AND this year there is something NEW: Join us for a festive Make & Take Fresh Evergreen Centerpiece Class also on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Wellsville Elementary School. Our Make & Take Fresh Evergreen Centerpiece Class, is taking place during our Pet Pictures with Santa event. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season — make something beautiful while supporting a wonderful cause!
Choose from two merry sessions — 9:00–10:30 AM OR 11:30 AM–1:00 PM — and let a talented floral instructor guide you in creating your own one-of-a-kind holiday centerpiece. You’ll fill a decorative container with fresh evergreens, ornaments, ribbons, and seasonal décor to design a showstopper that looks gorgeous and smells amazing!
Whether you craft it for your own table or as a handmade gift, you’ll be spreading holiday cheer in more ways than one — because every registration helps support the SPCA and the animals who depend on us for shelter, care, and love.

Please note: Class fees are non-refundable — but we’ve got you covered ~ if you need to cancel and we can fill your spot from the waitlist, we’ll happily refund you. If not, we’ll make sure you receive all the materials to make your project at home!

DON'T FORGET TO DONATE TO HELP CARE FOR OUR SHELTER ANIMALS
The SPCA Serving Allegany County is a 501c3 charitable organization and donations are critical in helping to provide care for the animals in our shelter. There are many ways to donate, whether it is cash, check, credit card or debit card. Donations can be made in memory of a person or a pet...in honor of a person, group or pet and donations can also be designated to be used towards our Emergency Medical Fund, or towards basic care of our animals or you can 'spay it forward' by donating to our Low cost Spay-Neuter Clinic.

"SNIP AND SPAY SPCA CLINIC"
Our SPAY & NEUTER CLINIC has been opened 5 years and we are proud to report we have spayed & neutered over 9,000 animals If you are interested in having your cat or dog spayed or neutered and have questions please email us at SnipandSpaySPCA@gmail.com to obtain more information. TNR - Trap-Neuter-Release services - If you have community cats or feral cats in your neighborhood or outside in your barn...we can help to affordably spay & neuter the outdoor kitties so they will stop reproducing. We offer TNR services from November through mid April, just click on the TNR Application and fill it out and email or snail mail it back to us. The construction of our Spay/Neuter clinic was made possible by the ASPCA's NY State Animal Population Control Program grant. We received grant in 2015, along with a very generous donor who matched the grant, which enabled us to start building the clinic. Our Snip & Spay clinic has been critical in helping to control the animal population in Allegany County. Special thanks to the ASPCA and to all of our donors who have helped to make this dream happen!

If you are interested in ADOPTING any of our animals - Please submit your application ADOPTION APPLICATION You can submit your application through email SPCAallegany@gmail.com or you can mail it to us at P.O.
